What's in a name?
The term "leathertramp" comes from a bygone era of Americana.  

It was used to describe one whose roots were laid down across the country and who traveled

where the soles of their shoes could carry them. Our roots are much the same, located in the

Finger Lakes of Upstate New York as well as the Central Valley of California.
 

We make wines that call upon our experiences with these great wine-making regions,
with notes and flavors that should evoke a little from each. Every wine is an expression of who we are,
where we have been and where we want to go.
